Troup Library has a wide selection of services offered for public use.

How To Get A Library Card - There is no charge to check out books or videos, but an application must be completed. Children need a parent's signature to complete the application.

How To Check Out Videos - You must read the Video Policy and fill out an application in order to check out videos. Children need a parent's signature to complete the application.

Computers - You must read the Computer and Internet Usage Policy and fill out the Computer Use and Internet Access Agreement in order to use the computers. Children need a parent's signature to complete the application. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult when on the computer. Use of the computers is free. If you choose to print material, the cost is $.10 for black and white and $.25 for color copies.

Internet access - Troup Library has seven computers available for public use. In order to use the computers, it is necessary to read the Computer and Internet Usage Policy and sign the Computer Use and Internet Access Agreement.

Interlibrary Loan - For items not in the collection, interlibrary loans are available through Dallas Public Library. Materials from the collections of other public, academic, and special libraries throughout the nation are made available to the library card holders through this service.

Copier - Troup Library has a copier available for public use. The cost of this service is $.10 per copy.

Faxes - Troup Library has a fax machine available for public use. The cost is $1.00 per page.
